Location: Middletown, NY
Salary: $25.00 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, On Site, 8:30AM-5:00PM (40hrs)
+ Benefits Package



Job Description:

Primary duties include:
 
  • Responsible for supervising and training staff
  • Attend regular Life Plan meetings, review, and create Staff Habilitation Plans
  • Track referrals and complete intakes for new cases
  • Assist in monitoring quality of services for program participants
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure appropriate budget management for people living independently
  • Develop internal and external collaborative relationships with colleagues  
  • Assist in tracking and implementing appropriate strategies related to department unit utilizations
  • Write formal staff evaluations, provide feedback to staff, and offer mentoring opportunities to allow staff to grow and achieve agency outcomes

 

Qualifications: 

  • 5-7 years related experience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • 3 years of related supervisory experience
  • Experience with creating and implementing new methods
  • Candidate will be organized and precise and have exceptional time management skills
  • Candidate must be able to lead and work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
  • Bi-lingual preferred not required  

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services field preferred

  • Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long-periods of time
  • Able to work in open space floor plan

  • Occasional lifting of > _25+ pounds
