Hours: Per Diem $29.81

Seeking an Other Licensed Practitioner (OLP) who will assist the child/youth and family/caregivers to help prevent the progression of behavioral health needs through early identification and intervention and may provide assessment for those for whom behavioral health conditions have not yet been diagnosed.

Job Description:

Other Licensed Practitioner will provide community based services to children and families who may have difficulty engaging in formal office settings but can benefit from home and community based ​services.

Other Licensed Practitioners offer services including:

-       Licensed Evaluation (Assessment)

-       Treatment Planning

-       Psychotherapy

-       Crisis Intervention Activities  

-       Crisis Triage

-       Crisis Off-Site

-       Crisis Complex Care 

The ideal candidate will:

-       Master’s Degree and licensed by NYS to treat mental illness or substance use disorder

-       Be cleared by the State Child Abuse Registry

-       Complete fingerprinting for a criminal history background clearance

-       Have a valid driver’s license

-       Have dependable transportation

-       Be able to complete Mandated Reporting self-directed on line training

-       Have experience working with children (preference given to those with experience working with children with special needs)

-       Must be willing to work late afternoons, evenings and some weekends.
